Line of Events

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite to face a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers never seen before. With their abilities outclassed, Team Sonic must forge an unlikely alliance. See the actors behind some of your favorite animated movies and series, including Keanu Reeves in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The filmmakers of the previous films have cited Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) as inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). In the television series, Sonic was still alive and reunited with his nephew, Dr. Robotnik Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Project Shadow is far beyond anything we’ve ever seen.
