It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they think will solve all their problems.. Denis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present) .. It took me a while to figure out where and how everything would unfold. And it really took me a while to find the balance between dark and bleak humor and what ended up being a pretty simple whodunnit. At first it was hard to connect with the characters who were on the whole seemingly clueless or malevolent… I understood why some watched one episode and turned off. There is so much to see, so much to drink, so little time… But I think persistence pays off here. Some might find the ending too silly, but there’s nothing wrong with a little sentimentality this time of year. I thoroughly enjoyed it.. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly — here' with a whole host of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
