Line of Events

Stranded on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and band together in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. Referenced in Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 “Think About the Bubbles”/”My Little Lighthouse” (2024).

The visual effects were also pretty grotesque!

I wasn’t sure about the show until the end of the second episode. No spoilers, but the sound effects alone were so visceral that they made me excited to see more!

The show finds its footing by the end of the second episode

The blood reminds me of the fun practical effects of 80s/90s horror, but mixed with CGI. I think it’s totally okay for showrunners to take their time to work on the story – back in the day, we gave shows a lot more time when 24 episodes were the norm.

Fun new series 🙂

I’ll be interested to see what direction the series takes from here. The final season of “What We Do in the Shadows” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
