Line of Events
Follows a struggling high school heavy metal band made up of outcasts who, taking advantage of the town’s sudden interest in the occult, gain a reputation as a satanic metal band until a strange series of events sparks a witch hunt that leads them back to them. Def Lepard’s “Hysteria,” KISS’ “Heaven Is Burning,” Meatloaf’s “Speaking in Tongues,” Iron Maiden’s “Can I Play with Madness,” Black Sabbath’s “Dirty Young,” Danzig’s “Mother,” Queen and the Dance is too late.

I went into this completely blind, and my first impression was that it was going to be a dark comedy and satire of the 1980s satanic panic. It turned out to be a teen drama best suited to MTV.
The story lines are all over the place, but they mostly blend together
Again, it’s another 80s throwback where most of the actors look like they stepped out of 2024 playing 80s characters and get everything wrong. I watched this in one day and it could have been a 2 hour movie.
It’s definitely one and done with no rewatch option
The not-so-subtle ending really ruined what could have been a great show. I can’t really recommend the show, but it was okay.
