A spoiled show dog and a stray cat embark on an exciting journey to find their family after being separated during a cross-country move. It’s moving day for the family and with their furniture safely en route to Salt Lake City, the four of them head to the airport with their beloved pets. "Gracie" is a rather grumpy dog ​​and "Pedro" is a stray cat who is in his cage and going through the airport baggage claim process when they have one of their many arguments. Next thing you know, they’re rumbling through the conveyor belts, and well – they’re clearly not getting on the plane. Now they must try to use their deception and a few new friends to figure out how to go on the road themselves and reunite with their dinner. They don’t really like each other, but after falling out with a couple of smart airport rats, they have to learn to work together or they’ll end up in jail – or worse! Pursued by a pair of persistent pursuers who they assume are from the city authorities, they go on a series of escapes. It’s all pretty standard summer family fairy tale, this movie, with decent animation and a few main characters who gradually convey the virtues of mutual reliance, trust and always keeping their collars on! No, you won’t remember watching it later, it’s not a story full of danger or innovation, but it does have plenty of action, some sarcastic wit from the dialogue and a bit of fun at the fairgrounds for the denouement. It probably shouldn’t be seen in the cinema, but it’s perfectly watchable.
